Working background
Since 1997 I have worked with young people in the age group 8 – 18 years, in youth clubs and after school projects. In 2000, I started working at a 24-hour care centre in Frederiksværk. My primary work there is to observe, motivate and make the young people’s everyday more coherent.

My intentions are to help them develop and achieve a higher psychological and physiological potential, through different activities. That includes everything from developing social- as well as physical skills.
Because of my way of interacting with young people, I am today solely responsible for several young people’s ongoing development.

Motocross background

Motocross has always been an essential part of my life. I started driving motocross at the age of 5, and as 6 year old I won my first championship in a local motocross club. 10 years old I won my first unofficial Danish championship in 80cc. After that I have been driven by my goal to once again stand on top as no. 1. Through the years this has resulted in 22 Danish championships and 1 European Championship.

Because of this I have been a part of the “Team Danmark” program from 1988 – 2000. This has given me the mental capacity to be a part of competitions all over the world. Furthermore it has given me the inside knowledge about the importance of having the optimal physical and mental shape.

I have also experienced how important the physical and mental shape is for a driver’s development toward becoming even better.
Quality is far more important than quantity, when it comes to condition as well as the effective practice on the motocross bike.

Motocross School

The motocross schools that I have established both in Denmark, USA and in France, are based on my wish to pass on my knowledge about physical- and mental practice and technical theories.
This includes start- break- turn- accelerations- position- jump- balance- planning- and coordination techniques.

I find it important that my schools, which last from 1-6 days, have a max. of 5 hours training per day and take care of developing each individual’s potential to the fullest. This happens when I, in corporation with the driver, take into consideration the individual goals of that particular driver.

Always remember:
You can never stop learning.
Your shape will determine how far you get.
Quality instead of quantity.

MX School in France

Training school in France every year.
Week 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12

The accommodations are now situated in Aubussarques, on the right side of Nimes. The distance to the fields is between 700 m. and 19 km. The circuits I have chosen are of a high technical degree, which, after 6 days, will make the Danish circuits feel like playgrounds.
We will drive on 5 different circuits. Two of them are designed by the MX3 world champion, Yves Demeria, in corporation with Loic, who is also the owner of our accommodations. This has opened up for great possibilities for developing my school in France. Yves Demeria also lives in the area.

There are two 65 m2 apartments, containing toilet, bathroom, 3 rooms, kitchen and a dining room with tv. There is also a terrace with a barbecue for each apartment.
The 3rd apartment has 3 rooms and 75 m2.
There are possibilities for 2 extra sleeping accommodations in the form of a double turn-down bed.
The price covers school and accommodations for 2 persons.
There’s a max. of 8 drivers per week.

Next to the apartments there’s a great locked garage, where the bikes spend the night. There’s also a washing area for the bikes.
It is necessary to bring your own bed linen, sleeping bags or duvets.
The temperature typically varies from 16 degrees in week 8, and 28 degrees in week 12.

Arrival and departure
Remember to bring food for the first day, as all the shops are closed in France on Sundays. There is about 19 hours of driving from Denmark to the destination, so a bit of sleep is probably necessary. However I advise you not to spend the night at the resting places by the high way, since there has been several attacks and robberies involving gas-sedation in both Germany and France.

The arrival is on Sundays between 15 and 20 o’clock, the day before the school starts, and you leave the place the following Saturday.
Before you leave for the last training (Saturday) it is time to clean the apartment, so the next team that arrives on Sunday, feels just as welcome as you did !

Cross info
As previously mentioned there are 5 different circuits, each with their own technical specialties. Those fields are also used by the world elite and by team gatherings for the national French Youth Team. Since the climate in the South of France is so pleasant and warm, we have no problem utilizing the circuits this time of year.

At my training schools there are only 8 drivers at a time, which increases the quality of the training. And it gives me the opportunity to get to know each driver 100%. It also enables me to help each and everyone to get closer to their individual goal, providing them with a few more tools in the “toolbox”. Whether it is huge or tiny goals, young or elderly, boys or girls, it doesn´t mean a thing. It all comes down to the desire to become a better motocross driver, and the will to try the techniques and theories I have learned and used throughout my 32 years in the motocross world.

At my school we concentrate on teaching each driver to discover the will to motivate themselves to practice 100% every time! And at the same time think positively. Every driver will be observed closely, so that any error, big or small, will be detected and corrected. There is approximately 180 minutes of concentrated mx training every day. My experience tells me that this is the most optimal solution, when the training is as intensive as it is.

During the 6 days we will work through start-, acceleration-, position-, break-, swing- and jump technique. At the same time each individual driver gets his/her psyche and confidence evaluated. I believe that psyche and confidence are crucial factors on the way to achieve the goals in mind. The drivers get their own training program to be used on the bike, and a personal fitness/cardio program.

Wednesday there will be a small trip for the adults, which gives them a chance to test French wines in all colors and the possibility to buy souvenirs at a good price.

In other words
It’s going to be 6 hard days, where there’s only time for mx, mx, mx and then… getting ready for more mx, mx, mx and mx!!

Getting in shape
You had better start preparing for the motocross school! Start improving your fitness now, because you’ll be spending 180 minutes on the bike EVERY day. This adds up to 1080 minutes of mx driving in 6 days! And of course you’ll achieve munch better results if you have the stamina to hang in there throughout the entire training.
I advice at least 2 running sessions a week – ideally 3! Make a fixed schedule, that is to be followed from now on until the time we meet in France.

The program for each day
8.00  - Breakfast.
9.40  - We meet at the mx circuit.
10.00 - Mx school starts.
15.00 – Mx school ends.
15 – 15.30 – A quick run to loosen up.
18.00 - Dinner.
19 – 21.00 - Getting the bike ready for tomorrow, and discussing today’s events.
21.00 - Getting ready for bed.

Remember
Running outfits, 2-3 hard circuit tires, 2 inner tubes rear, 2 inner tubes front, 3 air filters, break grip, clutch grip complete, steer, handles, breaking clutch rear, car alarm, chain lock for mc, insurance for mc, mc equipment in full order, elbow protection, renewed DMU license – phone no. +45 43 262626

Once again, remember
You can never stop learning.
Your shape will determine how far you get.
Quality instead of quantity.
